FIN Set To Host 2023 Banking On Emerging Market Forum In Morocco

Foreign Investment Network (FIN) has concluded arrangements to host the 2023 edition of Banking On Emerging Market Forum on Oct 10, 2023.

The forum that will feature an award ceremony will be a sideline event at the joint meeting of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) meeting.

 

It is an annual event that attracts high-profile African key economic leaders to chart new frontiers to build the economy of the continent.

The 2022 edition had in attendance, the Minister of Finance in Angola, the Central Bank governor of Nigeria, his Angolan counterpart, and others.

 

The FIN Banking on Emerging Markets Forum 2023 and the EuroKnowledge Award will take place at Hotel Kenzi Club Agdal Medina, Zone de l’Agdal, Boulevard Mohammed VI, Marrakech-40000, Morocco on Tuesday, Oct 10.

 

The theme for this year’s edition is “Unlocking Emerging Market Opportunities.” and will feature on discussions around the vast potential within emerging markets, Dominic Ajayi, the Chief Operating Officer of Foreign Investment Network (FIN), said in a statement.

 

It will also enable participants to explore insightful investment strategies and discover innovative banking solutions. A day FIN says will be packed with opportunities to delve into sustainable financial models that drive economic growth.

 

“Our speakers include the Director General of Intergovernmental Group Of Twenty-Four On International Monetary Affairs And Development; G24 and other top dignitaries, World bank delegation, International Monetary Fund; IMF delegation, Bank Al Maghrib of Morocco, Ministers of Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco, ministers of finance across Africa, Financial institutions, emerging market CEOs and C-level executives, Investment promotion agencies and other partners as well as FIN pool of Institutional investors”, the statement noted.

 

Nominations are also ongoing. The EuroKnowledge Award will close on 2nd October 2023.

 

It is designed to honour individuals who have made immense contributions to the emerging markets sector and have impacted significantly on society and are worthy of recognition.

 

The prestigious EuroKnowledge Award ceremony will wrap up the 2023 annual Banking on Emerging Markets Forum.

 

Financial Investment Network (FIN) had earlier held the FIN 2023 Trade/Investment and Leadership Forum and Award Reception at the sideline of the 78th UNGA in New York, which has been described as a resounding success. The FIN International Trade and Investment Forum, which had the theme Power Al Africa, attracted the presence of his Excellency Umaro Sissoco Embalo, President of Guinea-Bissau, who delivered the Keynote address.

President Embolo’s inspiring words resonated with attendees as he passionately shared his vision for a continent filled with innovation, economic growth, and prosperity.
