His assistant Olanrewaju Yemi will take charge of the People’s Elephant for the rest of the season.
Enyimba are expected to release an official statement on his departure soon.

The former Ajax winger spent three seasons at Enyimba guiding them to a record ninth title last season.
The People’s Elephant currently occupy third position on the NPFL table.

Finidi’s fist official game in charge of the Super Eagles will be against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa next month.
