The State Executive Council (SEC), said the intervention of four blocks of hostel would be completed within 12 months.

Addressing journalists after the meeting, the State’s Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Mr Iliya James said the decision of the council was to cushion the suffering of students, particularly in the area of accommodation deficit in the school.

He said that council gave the approval to ensure that more students are admitted for the mandatory one-year law study, stating further that the institution is the only law school in the North-East region.

The Commissioner also noted that from the takeoff of the school in 2013, only 250 students were admitted, but as at today, 400 students are currently admitted, stressing that with the intervention, more students will be admitted.
