Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has announced free dialysis treatments across the state to make healthcare more accessible to the common man at the State Specialists Hospital.

LEADERSHIP gathered that average dialysis treatment for a patient per week costs N100,000 mostly due to kidney failure.

The initiative is part of the Governor Fintiri’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services, ensuring both urban and rural communities benefit from improved medical care.

Dialysis patients earlier had to rely on the Federal Medical Center, Yola or travel long distances to access treatment.
