A section of the Queens’ College situated in Yaba area of Lagos State has been gutted by fire.

An eyewitness said the fire erupted from the lodge situated at the back of the staff quarters of the school.

Confirming the incident, director, Lagos Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, said no life was lost in the inferno as the men of the fire service swung into action to curtail its spread.

She, however, said the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
