Carloha Nigeria has stepped up its drive to deepen electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Nigeria with the launch of the Chery Q, offering buyers a six-year warranty and a seven-day repair guarantee as competition in the country’s emerging EV market intensifies.
The assembler and distributor of Chery vehicles said the new electric vehicle is now available nationwide, adding to the growing number of EV options available to Nigerian motorists and signalling increased industry investment in electric mobility.
The company said the Chery Q comes with its CarlohaCare 6-6-7 aftersales package, comprising a six-year warranty, six years of free scheduled servicing up to 120,000 kilometres and a seven-day repair promise.
Under the arrangement, Carloha said customers will receive a courtesy vehicle if repairs are not completed within seven days.
General manager, Marketing, Carloha Nigeria, Felix Mahan, said the launch was part of the company’s commitment to making electric mobility more accessible to Nigerians.
“The arrival of the Chery Q represents the fulfilment of our promise to bring another exciting Chery electric vehicle to Nigeria. We are pleased that the Chery Q is now available nationwide, giving more Nigerians the opportunity to experience intelligent, sustainable and enjoyable electric mobility.”
Mahan said the company was also focusing on aftersales support to address concerns that could influence consumer adoption of electric vehicles.

The latest launch comes as Nigeria’s automotive market gradually expands its electric mobility offerings, with vehicle availability, charging infrastructure, acquisition costs and reliable aftersales support remaining important factors in the wider adoption of EVs.
