The Chief Executive Officer of Shapental Global Networks Limited, Engr. Umar Abdullahi, has led a delegation of Russian Investors on a charity excursion to Takushara Community, Apo-Kabusa Ward of Abuja Municipal Area Council.
Abdullahi is also the Director of Marketing and Distribution of Agrodyke Organic Fertilizer in North & Eastern Nigeria for HighHope Energy Limited.
Amidst the delegation was the President of Gexa Group of Companies, Mrs. Victoria Mattei, and her entire group of specialists on investment promotion. The investors were warmly hosted by Mallam Ahmad Tanko Umar (Makaman Takushara), one of the community Deputy Chiefs, and he was delighted that his community was among others to be visited.
Umar also told the delegation that Takushara Community is a farming community and would be glad if Gexa Group of Companies uses their local farms to experiment with their organic agricultural inputs and practices to create employment opportunities for their community.
The President personally shared foodstuffs and other humanitarian support to the community’s vulnerable members and promised to invest in the four sectors of the Nigerian economy: Agriculture, Health disposable products, Road Construction technology, and Building construction Materials.
Gexa Group of Companies also promised to boost agriculture in the community by providing the necessary equipment for farming. The food items donated include about 10 bags of rice, chocolates, and many others.
Speaking during the delivery of the items, the CEO of the group, Victoria Mattei, said their major aim is to provide quality of life so that the children can live in happiness. “We also want to bring our little help from the Russian side to help children, families because it is very important to support little children in what they want so that they can grow up as useful people in society,” she said.
She stated that it is very important to educate children so that they can grow up as real people, as a blessing to the nation. Mattei added that Russia is ready to collaborate with the Nigerian government to help grow the rural areas in terms of agriculture, among many other things, adding that they are ready to give every possible help as much as they can.
Reacting, Mallam Ahmad Tanko Umar, who represented the Chief of Takushara, Saidu Mahmmed, said that members of the community are predominantly farmers and will be happy if any assistance comes in the form of agriculture. He said that they are ever ready to welcome anybody who is coming to provide their basic needs for them, even if it is to provide one hectare of land for them.
