Firm Gets Commendation Over Waste Evacuation In Delta

Stakeholders have commended the massive waste and refuse  evacuation by management of Madoxx Projects, Uwie Local Government, Delta State.

Recall that to ensure a safer and cleaner environment, operatives of Madoxx Projects completed the evacuation of waste and other offensive waste within Effurun Roundabout.

Speaking after the completion of the evacuation, the Chief Executive Officer, Madoxx Projects, Sunny Avra Onoriobe disclosed that the exercise was in collaboration with the Delta State Waste  management Board and  Uwie Local Government Council in Delta State.

Onoriobe reiterated that the work was carried out as part of the Companies Corporate Social Responsibility to his immediate environment and a humanitarian gesture to the State knowing the strategic nature of the roundabout to the face of the state.

He added Uvwie LG deserves to be   cleaner and safer for both the indigenes and passers-by

Onoriobe who harped on  measures to carry out effective environmental sanitation noted that the position of the age long wastes were strategically  positioned within the entry points into Delta State.

He described the wastes as an embarrassment and an eyesore to the Local Government.

Maddox Project boss further noted that the clean up of the areas aforementioned will further bring out the aesthetic beauty  of the Effurun Roundabout .

Road users, however, lauded the effort of the clean up exercise embarked upon by the Company.

According to a taxi driver within the axis who also identified himself as Odafe, Benson noted that Maddox Projects performed magic over the sudden disappearance of the heaps of refuse along the Sapele Road and Effurun axis.

Odafe explained that the massive waste along the axis was an eyesore to the State even as he described it as a national embarrassment because of the importance of the state in Nigerian

The driver stressed the need for constant evacuation of waste within the axis pointing out failure to do so would lead to health hazards and other pandemic if not properly curbed.

Similarly, Ugochukwu Ezisi, commended the company for the innovation of waste evacuation urging the government to continue the good work carried out by Madoxx Projects to keep the surrounding clean.

Ezizi affirmed that a company like Maddox should be encouraged to do more.

Also speaking, Segun Oladipupo, expressed satisfaction over the sudden disappearance of the age long wastes within the axis stressing the need for Delta State government to extend the exercise to such areas where they have such waste within the Metropolis.

A resident of Warri in Delta State, Fredrick Ochei, on his part, commended management of Maddox Projects for the initiative saying that the humanitarian services and CRS saying that the evacuation of waste would further beautify the community.

He called on government to encourage the company in furtherance to ensure a cleaner and safer environment in Delta State

He noted that with the development, the community is gradually developing into an international city,stressing the need for the government to partner with the company as part of measures to optimally sustain the progress recorded  within the local government area.
