International strategic communications agency LSF PR has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 SABRE EMEA Awards, marking a significant recognition of its work across corporate and brand communications.

The firm is a finalist in the Capital Markets Communications and Superior Achievement in Brand-Building (Diamond SABRE) categories, with both nominations highlighting projects executed through its Nigeria office.

The Capital Markets Communications nomination recognises LSF PR’s role in supporting UAC of Nigeria PLC during its acquisition of Chivita | Hollandia (CHI) Limited, widely regarded as one of the most notable FMCG transactions in Nigeria in recent years.

In the Brand-Building (Diamond SABRE) category, the agency was acknowledged for its multi-year campaign for BIC, which successfully repositioned the company in Nigeria from a familiar stationery brand into a purpose-driven, multi-category FMCG business with stronger local and continental relevance.

The SABRE Awards, organised by PRovoke Media, are among the most respected global benchmarks in public relations, celebrating excellence in branding, reputation management and stakeholder engagement.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LSF PR, Bidemi Zakariyau Akande, said the recognition reflects the agency’s commitment to delivering impactful work across markets.

“We’re pleased to see this work recognised at the SABRE EMEA Awards. Both nominations reflect the strength of what our Africa team continues to deliver—work that sits at the intersection of business, reputation and long-term brand strategy,” she said.

Akande added that leading the firm’s UK operations while overseeing its Africa portfolio has reinforced the importance of consistency and positioning African-led work on the global stage.

Also speaking, Managing Director, LSF PR Africa, Tolu Akin-Aribisala, said the nominations underscore the depth of expertise and dedication within the team.

“We’re proud of the work and, more importantly, the team behind it. These nominations speak to the level of thinking, execution and consistency that goes into what we do every day,” she said.

According to her, the agency remains focused on delivering meaningful communication strategies that support business outcomes, build trust and withstand scrutiny.

The winners will be announced at the SABRE EMEA Awards ceremony scheduled to be held in London on May 21, 2026.
