Firms Partner In Nigeria To Enhance Learning Of Coding

A Chinese company, Sprix Inc Limited, has partnered with EduTech firm Gladely to introduce innovative coding features aimed at enhancing technological skills among young learners in Nigeria.

The manager of Global Division of the  firm, Horoki Watanabe told  newsmen in an interview, explaining that their partnership with EduTech involves providing Information Technology educational content to pupils.

“We have been running this project with many countries and have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Ministries of Education. Through our collaboration, we are offering online coding camps for Gradely users, giving them the opportunity to access our coding camp online. They will be able to learn 30 different concepts of computer science,” Watanabe stated.

He emphasized that the collaboration with Nigeria is significant, as the country serves as a gateway to Africa  saying, “We have successfully collaborated with other African countries such as Kenya and Uganda. This partnership is a key factor in achieving success in Nigeria,”

The chief executive officer of Gradely, Boye Oshinaga, said the EduTech platform’s focus on mastery learning techniques, which involves providing online tutors to educate pupils. Oshinaga shared his vision of helping 10 million children through the initiative.

Oshinaga further explained Gradely’s mission to address the learning challenges faced by Nigerian children, stating, “Gradely is more than just an educational tool; it is a game-changing app on a rescue mission for the learning struggles of the Nigerian child. By combining the latest technology with personalized tutoring and a gamified learning experience, we ensure that every child can achieve their full potential.”
