Congratulating the team on ending a 16-year Olympic jinx, Tinubu praised the Falcons’ “perseverance and commitment” that have “truly paid off” and brought “glory to Nigeria.”.

“Ending a 16-year Olympic jinx is no small feat, and your hard work, resilience, and team spirit have inspired countless young girls across the country to pursue their dreams fearlessly,” the First Lady said.

Mrs Tinubu expressed immense pride in the Falcons’ accomplishments, declaring: “I am so proud of all your achievements.”

However, the First Lady made it clear that the team’s journey is far from over, stating: “Your journey doesn’t end here; it’s just the beginning of an even greater adventure.”
