The company, in its fourth season of the FMN Prize for Innovation (PFI), has once again spotlighted some of Nigeria’s most promising agropreneurs, showcasing groundbreaking solutions that have the potential to transform the agricultural sector.

FMN stated that “with nearly 2,000 applications submitted, the competition was fierce, but after months of rigorous selection, mentorship, and final pitches before a panel of industry experts, three exceptional businesses emerged as the ones to watch. These entrepreneurs are not just solving problems; they are redefining the future of agriculture in Nigeria.”

Levitate Aquaria and Breeder Farms took home the grand prize of N5 million for their innovative approach to sustainable livestock management. Vet Konect, a digital animal health company, secured second place and an N3 million prize for its technology-driven platform that bridges the gap between livestock farmers, pet owners, and veterinary services; while Bionet Innovations clinched third place and N2 million for its revolutionary work in converting food waste and livestock droppings into high-protein animal nutrition.

The company stated that, “as these three agropreneurs move forward with their bold innovations, the FMN Prize for Innovation (PFI) has once again reinforced its role in driving transformative change in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
