Ahead of the fourth edition of the Kings Concert, which will be held on October 11 at the Blake Resort, singer and entertainment executive, Michael Oyibo, has urged upcoming artistes to stay true to their craft and in the grind.

Oyibo, nicknamed Kaycee Kline, said since the creation of Kings Concert, it’s become a platform for showcasing emerging talents, whilst simultaneously maintaining an image of class, creativity and excellence. It represents part of his intended legacy of celebrating African talents and culture in its purest form.

Hence, his advice to fledgling artistes.
“Stay true to your craft, be patient, and keep working.

Success doesn’t happen overnight. Believe in your sound, invest in yourself and stay humble.

Networking and discipline are also important, because talent alone isn’t enough,” Kline said.

He reiterated his commitment to the continued creation of spaces that empower entertainers and inspire creativity, particularly in Abuja.

Kline said while Lagos remains the epicentre of entertainment in Nigeria, Abuja offers its own unique blend of class, creativity and entertainment.

“In the next five years, I see Kings Concert expanding beyond Abuja, into other major cities and eventually across Africa,” he said.

With the Kings Concert in view, Kline said the stage is set for another memorable edition.

“We have improved on sound, lighting and stage design to give Kings Concert 4.0 that international concert feel. Our security, hospitality and red-carpet experience are top-notch.

“We have an exciting line-up featuring Abuja’s finest talents and surprise guests from Lagos. I’ll also be performing live with my band. It’s going to be a complete entertainment experience,” he said.
