I continued by carefully and politely explaining to them that it is not a good thing to generalise as people are different. There are always the bad eggs in any tribe. And just as there are bad eggs there are good eggs. In my opinion good people will always be more than bad people.

As such, no matter what, we should learn to call out the bad, but importantly embrace the good of our diversity as that is what would make us move forward successfully. It is a strength that we have and a strength we can make use of for the betterment of society in all aspects.
