A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has advised President Bola Tinubu not to seek for a second term in office in 2027 elections.

This is as he applauded former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, and former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, as well as others, for forming a new political platform, the All Democratic Alliance (ADA).

Eze, in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP in Port Harcourt, stated that the Tinubu-led administration has performed abysmally in the past two years.

He said: “Finally, President Tinubu can now start packing his luggages for his much anticipated movement back to his Bourdillon Home after all the collosal damages he has committed against our democracy and economy due to his abysmal performance within 2 years of stolen mandate as a President.

“Never again can we as a nation be made to pass through such a horrible path of maladministration, corruption, crass incompetence, and nepotism, which have become the hallmark of the Tinubu presidency.”

The APC chieftain thanked those behind ADA for their patriotic resolve to salvage Nigeria’s failing democracy and rescue the country from nose-diving into the murky waters of anti-democratic governance.

Eze said: “I commend all of you for your foresight, proactiveness, optimism, commitment and patriotism in a bid to wrestle power from the hands of despots, nepotists selfish and anti democratic forces, who have plunged our dear nation into a land of bloodletting, kidnapping, misery, abject poverty, devastating hunger and made Nigeria a laughing stock before the international community.

“Once again, as prominent Nigerians, and a group of cerebral, enigmatic, influential, visionary and grassroots politicians, you have proven that you all are not only born tactical politicians, but a group of caring patriotic, eminent and grassroots oriented leaders who are touched with the present sordid state of our nation.

“God will surely answer our collective prayers in our drive to salvage and liberate this country from the hands of misguided leaders, misfits, autocrats, most clueless, insensitive and demented undemocratic forces, who are riding rough-shod over the common patrimony of Nigerians.”
