All Konduga Solidarity and Progressive Forum has lauded the appointment of Hauwa Abubakar as acting attorney-general and commissioner for Justice of Borno State.
It described Abubakar as a thoroughbred lawyer who had risen through the rank and file to get to the current height of career.
Abubakar was earlier appointed a member of the Presidential Visitation Panel to the University of Abuja from April to June 2021 by President Muhammadu Buhari with the terms of reference which included: governance, academic standard, quality assurance, evaluation of infrastructure and instructional facilities.
The forum in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday in Abuja signed by the executive committee and members of the Forum said Abubakar was a consummate technocrat, who had acquired insights into governance imperatives and legal matters.
They said Abubakar’s appointment was a clear demonstration of the competence of governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, in headhunting the best brains for the growth and development of the state.
