In celebrating the International Women’s Day Conference, the Foundation, in partnership with Hard Rock Café Lagos, organised an event with the theme, ‘Fearless Women, Strong Minds: Overcoming the Unique Mental Health Challenges’ held in Lagos.

In her address during the programme, the founder of Be An Impact Empowerment Foundation, Mrs Sandra Ajibola, stated, “Today, we are not just celebrating women; we are focusing on a critical aspect of women’s well-being: mental health. Our theme, ‘Fearless Women, Strong Minds: Overcoming the Unique Mental Health Challenges’, speaks to the heart of the conversations we will be having today.

“We will delve into a topic that is both timely and vital: the mental health of women. In a world that constantly demands strength and resilience, it is crucial to acknowledge the unique mental health challenges women face.”

She added that “today’s discussions have underscored the critical importance of prioritising women’s mental health, calling for continuous breaking of stigma surrounding mental health, fostering supportive communities, and empowering every woman to seek help and thrive.”

Ajibola noted, “The Foundation started officially in October 2024, and this is our first edition seminar. The Foundation is not just all about women’s empowerment. We also have opportunities for education and youth empowerment development. We are trying to make sure that we include all of these SDG goals to push out this narrative to the world.”

She pointed out, “We are empowering women, teaching them how to conduct their businesses, and creating support for them.”
