According to a member of the distribution committee from the foundation, Dr Ibrahim Disina, they are currently feeding approximately 4,000 individuals daily in Maiduguri.
Shafa who hails from Bauchi State, is a major petroleum marketer in Nigeria.

Disina explained that the foundation’s food assistance aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the recent floods which destroyed homes, livelihoods and infrastructure.

“Charity alleviates suffering and we implore more affluent individuals and organisations to lend a helping hand to the victims. The flood victims need support by all who can in this period,” he said.
