The foundation provided the trainees with sewing machines, grinding machines, and cash donations to enable them to start businesses and boost their productive capacity.

Speaking during yesterday’s official unveiling of the Prince Emmanuel Eze Charity Foundation and celebration of the 13th wedding anniversary in Abuja, Prince Eze Emmanuel, the foundation president, emphasised that since its inception, the foundation has focused on boosting and improving the lives of women, youths, and children by equipping them with the relevant skills to thrive in this ever-challenging economic environment.

Eze highlighted that despite the funding constraints coupled with economic hardships, the foundation remains resolute and committed to discharging its mandate to target populations.

He felicitates with the beneficiaries of the programme while encouraging them to use the skills they acquired to develop themselves financially while at the same time contributing to the overall economic development of their communities.

“Today has been a remarkable day for us as we witness the graduation of this cohort under our foundation empowerment program. I therefore seized this opportunity to call on the beneficiaries to adequately utilise the knowledge, skills, and expertise they gained during the training program to become financially independent,” he added.

He said, “Today, l officially unveiled my charity foundation, which we have been doing charity work to empower less privileged youths involved in national development in general.

According to him, he visited Garki and Gwarimpa General Hospitals in FCT to see motherless and newborn babies to support them financially, pay their bills, and to leave a legacy.

He said, “One after the other, as we graduate this set of trainees, another set will come up, and we have also gone around to different hospitals helping patients for surgeries, about 2 million to 3.5 million for many people that can not afford funds to pay hospital bills in the society.

“My family, including my wife, go to different hospitals to visit elderly people who have fewer privileges and cannot afford money to pay for their services at the hospital.

“God almighty has been blessing me. The more l give, the more blessings I receive from our Father in Heaven. On the trainees, l must commend their dedication throughout their training exercise,” he said.

He advised the trainees that their task is also to teach those who need assistance, close friends and associates so that they can contribute to society anywhere they live.
