Asmau Ali Foundation has launched its holiday art exhibition to seek support for the People With Disabilities (PWDs).

The Foundation’s Holiday Arts Exhibition which was held at the weekend in Abuja is for children with disabilities.

The founder, Asmau Ali, said the Holiday Art Exhibition is her desire to engage more deeply with disabled people.

She said the exhibition is used to connect disabilities, helping them in way that I can.

She said, “Asmau Ali Foundation Holiday Art Exhibition is taken from different faces of the world and all the funds we raised for the blind people.

“Asmau Ali Foundation is a disability foundation.

So, there are a lot of disabilities especially in Nigeria and I always have deep feelings for disabled people especially the blind people and the unveiling of this exhibition is a great deal to reach out to the disability community. We reach out to them in different ways either to the IDP camps, or to the communities,” she said.

Ali said the Nigeria government is not doing enough for the disability community.
