Worried by the continued effects of climate change in the world and Nigeria in particular, the Ebaidebheki Initiative has unveiled the Climate Teen Hub in Abuja to sensitise young Nigerians on climate change and make them change advocates in their respective communities.

Speaking at the launch of the Climate Teen Hub in Abuja at the weekend, the co-founder of Ebaidebheki Initiative, the initiator of the hub, Ebaide Omiunu, said the aim was to gather children of between 10 to 19 years and give them requisite knowledge of climate activities so that they could go and speak against activities that could worsen the environment.

She said TEI was creating the hub where young children can get really inspired and innovative and be able to bring to the fore, initiatives that would address climate change.

She added that there are plans to use these first participants to spread the climate change activities to schools, communities and the grassroots in the future.

She urged other interested teens to register and become members of the hub as registration is free and the website is open to receive registration.
