The Mutawali of Ilorin and grand patron of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) in Kwara State, Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq, yesterday commissioned the Alimi Abdulrazaq Academic (Triple-A) Building at Fountain University, Osogbo, in Osun State.

The colourful event, which coincided with the university’s 14th convocation, also witnessed the commissioning of five transformative projects donated by a group of philanthropists known as G 5 to the institution.

The donors of the projects are Alhaji Yunus Olalekan Saliu, Alhaji Ayoku Liadi, Alhaji Sheriff Mojirola Yusuf, Dr Foluke Kafayat Abdulrazaq and Alhaji Yinka Adeola.

In his opening remarks, Fountain University’s vice chancellor, Prof Olayinka Ramota Karim, commended Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq for his dedication to advancing education and leadership.

“First and foremost, allow me to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq, the Mutawalli of Ilorin, and the esteemed chairman of this occasion. Sir, your presence here today underscores your unwavering dedication to the advancement of education and leadership.

“As you graciously commission the Alimi Abdulrazaq Academic (Triple A) Building for the College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, which serves as a point of contact for four other transformative projects, we are reminded of the power of vision, generosity, and commitment to societal progress,” Karim stated.
