A Facebook user identified as Adelere Rasaki posted the video on Thursday, where he called for help to arrest the man who he said lives at 16, Popoola Street, Oko Baale, Ado Odo Ota, Ogun State.

The man as shown in the video, forcefully kicked the boy resulting in the minor hitting his head on the ground and bursting into a loud cry.

Reacting to the viral online video, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, posting via X on Friday, expressed his concern for the boy’s well-being and urged swift action from the Ogun State Police to arrest the man.

“#OgunPoliceNG #PoliceNG, take up this immediately and revert. This is sad and callous. Why?? Anger is destructive,” he wrote.

Adejobi further emphasised the need for medical attention for the child, stating, “Also confirm if the child has been accorded medical attention, assessment and treatment because of possible head injury or internal bleeding. The impact on him is much. Let’s act fast on this.”

He also urged anyone with relevant information to reach out to the Ogun State Police Command to assist in locating the suspect.

In the post, Rasaki wrote as caption, “This man, Odukaye Kunle by name is not supposed to be living among the sane. Please help repost till the long hand of the law gets to him. He resides at 16 Popoola Street, Oko Baale, Ado Odo Ota, Ogun State.
