Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dauda Biu has appointed Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu as the new spokesperson of the FRSC.
Agwu is a well-rounded public relations officer, having served as spokesperson of the FRSC before now.
He is also the face behind the popular radio programme, ‘Oga Driver’ and writes a column in LEADERSHIP every Saturday.
In a statement signed by the deputy spokesperson, Charles Edem, it noted that the corps marshal approved the redeployment of the former assistant corps marshal in charge of Command Administration and Strategies (CAS), ACM Agwu to take over the administration of the corps public education office (spokesperson) hitherto held by deputy corps marshal Bisi Kazeem.
FRSC also redeployed its former spokesperson, DCM Kazeem to the Training Department at the national headquarters, Abuja.
Meanwhile, the deputy corps marshal Shehu Alkali Zaki, the erstwhile deputy corps marshal in charge of the Training Department is to henceforth oversee the affairs of the Department of Operations.
The statement added that the corps marshal expressed confidence in the capacity and experiences of the newly redeployed senior officer to deliver on mandate as he charged them to bring their professional expertise for impactful leadership.
The redeployment is with effect from January 15, 2024 which marks the end of the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol.
