A towing truck belonging to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) crashed early yesterday near Karu Bridge along the Nyanya-Mararaba expressway in Abuja,  killing the driver and leaving three others injured.

The truck was towing a trailer when the incident occurred, according to the spokesman of the FRSC, Bisi Kazeem, who said the corps marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, expressed concern over the incident and commiserated with the staff and management over the loss.

“Investigation into the crash revealed that four people were involved, out of which three sustained different degrees of injuries while one person who happened to be the driver was killed. Only the two vehicles, the trailer and FRSC towing truck were involved,” he said.
