Fubara Retains Wike’s Protocol Chief, Appoints 14 Aides

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has reappointed Ambassador Harold Koko as his chief of protocol and Marshal Obuzor as special assistant on new/social media.

Koko and Obuzor served in the same capacities during the tenure of the immediate past governor of the state, NyesomEzenwo Wike.

Fubara, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt yesterday by his media aide, Boniface Onyedi, announced the appointment of 14 special assistants, whose appointments are with immediate effect.

The statement reads, “This is to bring to the notice of Rivers people and the general public that Sir Siminalayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the following appointments with immediate effect:

“Owolabi Ofori – special assistant, logistics; Ogbonda Okocha – special assistant, project monitoring; Princewill Dike – special assistant, strategy; Chima Aguma – special assistant, aviation matters.

“Joseph Awuse – special assistant, finance; Igwe Anyanwu – special assistant, foreign investment; Jerry A. Omotsegunwa – special assistant, Electronic Media; Fenibo Fubara Jnr – special assistant, ICT.
