The sanctions, approved at the University Senate’s 32nd meeting held recently, also include a two-semester rustication for four students, while nineteen others were issued stern warning letters.

Registrar of the University, Halima Garba, who conveyed the decision in a press statement, said, “The University Senate reached this decision after thorough investigation and careful consideration of the recommendations of its Disciplinary Committee.

“Henceforth, all staff and students are advised to take note of this development and cease all academic and administrative dealings with the affected students.”

Reiterating the institution’s zero tolerance for misconduct, Garba said, “FUHSA remains committed to maintaining discipline, integrity, and academic excellence.”

The institution therefore urged all students to conduct themselves in line with the University’s rules and regulations at all times.
