The federal government has released a list of additional motor parks where Nigerians can benefit from a 50% rebate on transport fares for return trips during the festive season.

This announcement was made via the X (formerly Twitter) account of the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Temitope Ajayi, on Friday, December 29.

In line with its commitment to subsidize travel fees for passengers during the yuletide, the government expanded the 50% transportation rebate.

Initially launched on Monday, December 25, the rebate saw 128 road transport passengers on northern routes receiving a refund of 50% of their fares from a monitoring group overseeing the implementation.
