Film writer, director, founder and producer at Sutoritera Productions Emil Garuba has hinted of the release of his new feature film Maia.

Garuba on his LinkedIn page announced that the faith-based feature length drama currently in post-production was ‘magic’ and will soon be released to the public.

Maia follows the story of a young lady of same title on her journey to undo the curse placed on her years ago, while trying to balance her successful career as a florist and her love life, with often hilarious and heartbreaking consequences.

Directed by Bem Pever, the Take 7 Media Production movie is produced by Emil Garuba, features Ego Nwosu as the protagonist Maia, Mofe Duncan, Ekemini Jane Essien, Collins ‘Shadyville’ Chukwu, Lara Wise, Preach Bassey among others.

Maia is one of the several film project collaborations between Pever and Garuba, and one of their two projects including A Life of Songs: E.E Zuzu set to release this year.
