Inspire Youth Development Foundation’s annual event ‘Golazo Fest’ has continued to harness the tremendous power of sport to help build a better and more sustainable future for youth.

What began as a humble initiative in 2017 has now advanced into one of the most anticipated youth-centric events in Nigeria, drawing young talents from all corners of the country.

Founded by the visionary entrepreneur Rabiu Hassan Lawal, the foundation set out with a clear objective: to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship and philanthropy among the younger generation.

In its five-year journey, the festival has matured into a significant platform for fostering youth development with this year’s edition receiving a boost from the sponsor, Providus Bank, who shared the Foundation’s commitment to empowering the youth.

At its core, “Golazo Fest” is a fusion of sports, business, culture, and entertainment. The football tournament represents the competitive spirit of youth, while a small business exhibition allows budding enterprises to showcase their products. The festival’s impact is amplified by accompanying educational initiatives, broadening the horizons of attendees. A captivating concert featuring renowned artists concludes the event, emphasizing its multidimensional approach.

It engages schools from across the nation in discussions about education’s significance and healthy lifestyle choices. Additionally, it provides a platform for young politicians to share their visions for a better Nigeria, inspiring the youth to actively participate in shaping the nation’s future through political engagement. The efforts of the Inspire Youth Development Foundation and all involved deserve heartfelt applause for leaving an indelible impact on Nigerian youth, fostering ambition, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
