Golden Penny Hosts Free Food Festival In Enugu

Enugu, capital of the Coal City State was agog on Friday as leading food and beverage industry, Golden Penny, hosted residents to a free food festival.

The free entry at the event which took place at the popular Ngwo Park, Enugu attracted mammoth crowd of children and adults.

It featured a variety of foods and drinks with different flavours and activities for all ages.
The event made available quality food for different residents and created a fun and an engaging atmosphere.

Our correspondent who covered the event observed that different free dishes including different soups and products of Golden Penny were served.

Some beneficiaries who spoke to our correspondent commended Golden Penny for feeding them at a time of hardship.

One of the beneficiaries, Chiamaka, commended Golden Penny for organising the event. Amanda Nnadi said she attended the event with her parents, saying her parents and friends were very happy with Golden Penny for organizing the event.

She said she had not seen that kind of event before and appealed to Golden Penny to come back again.

Gifts were presented to winners of a raffle draw, dancing and other competitions during the event.
