Gombe District Head Loses 2 Family Members To Road Accident

Two members of Galadiman Tangale family in Gombe State, Alhaji Yunusa Adamu Fawu, have died in a ghastly road accident on their way to Kaduna State for a visit.

Galadiman Tangale is also the district head of Bare in Billiri local government area of Gombe State.

LEADERSHIP reports that the two victims include

Adamu Mohammed Fawu, 35, a son of the elder brother to the District Head of Bare, Mohammed Adamu Fawu, an officer with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the wife of the District Head, Hussaina Yunusa Adamu 41.

Meanwhile, Gombe State governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has mourned the death of the two members of the royal family.

The governor, who was represented by a high-powered delegation led by the State’s deputy governor, Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau, was at the family house of the District Head of Bare where they condoled with the family on behalf of the State government.

“When pained by the exit of our loved ones, we should accept it as the divine verdict of God, trusting that He will heal the wounds and comfort us.

“God has made it easier for us, as time itself has proven to be the greatest healer, when at the passage of time we forget the excruciating pains we pass through,” Jatau said.

Responding, the District Head of Bare, Alhaji Yunusa Adamu Fawu, appreciated the show of love and concern exhibited by the governor and the team of government functionaries, who paid them the visit to sympathise with them.
