Speaking on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, described the inauguration as a clear reflection of Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s commitment to inclusive governance and transparency for the overall benefit of the people of Gombe State.

Professor Njodi emphasized the critical role these Boards and Commissions play in implementing government policies and delivering essential services.

He noted that their reconstitution marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance and accountability.

“With the intellectual capacity and experience of the newly appointed leaders and members, we are confident that Gombe State is well-positioned to achieve greater progress and excellence in public service delivery,” he said.

He also reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to providing the necessary support to enable these institutions to function effectively and fulfill their mandates.

While congratulating the appointees, Professor Njodi charged them to bring their expertise and experience to bear in driving the goals and objectives of their respective organizations, urging them to serve with honour, dignity, and a deep sense of responsibility.

Responding on behalf of the appointees, Hajiya Rabi Shuaibu Jimeta, mni, Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Inuwa Yahaya for the trust and confidence reposed in them.

She described their appointments as both an honour and a profound responsibility.
