Niger State governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has charged Christians to be deliberate in showing genuine love to all.

In a Christmas and New Year message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Farmer Governor observed that humility, forgiveness, and genuine love to all are the essence of the Christmas celebration.

He said the season is a period for sober reflection, on the faithfulness of God to mankind and to engender positive change in the society.

While congratulating Christians in the state and across the globe on Christmas celebration, the  governor enjoined all residents of the state to continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of Niger State in particular, and Nigeria in general.

He also charges all residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious individuals or activities to security agencies.

Similarly, Senator Peter Ndalikali Jiya, representing Niger South Senatorial District (Zone A) has asked Christians and others within the state and the country to take advantage of the Christmas season to live in peace and unity with one another.

The Niger South senator made this known in his  Christmas message while urging his constituents to uphold the law and support the country’s progress.

He emphasized the importance of praying for Nigeria’s success, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation among citizens assuring that as a representative of Niger South Senatorial District, he would continue to serve the people through people’s oriented projects which bring smiles and happiness to the people.
