Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has presented a budget of N1.558 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year to the state House of Assembly.
The amount is higher than the 2024 appropriation by 48.32 percent.
He said the revenue to be derived from statutory allocation is N53.4 billion, Value Added Tax – N85.3 billion, other FAAC receipts – N236.9 billion, IGR- N63.3 billion, Other IGR-N186,368,241,948.00 and capital receipts-N933 .5 billion, totaling N1.558 trillion.
The governor said the capital receipts component of the resource inflow was made up of N493,496,681,728.00 and N440,062,086,228.00 billion as loans and grants respectively.
