He gave the assurance when he received a delegation of prominent Delta PDP leaders at the Government House, Bauchi. The delegation was led by elder statesman Edwin Olley and Micheal Tidi immediate past chairman of Warri South local government area.

Governor Bala praised the duo as dedicated founding members of the PDP who have made significant contributions to the party’s successes in Delta and nationally.

He commended their steadfastness and refusal to abandon the party despite waves of political defections, describing PDP as “the party of our time”, the most formidable and focused in advancing national ideals across all regions.

In their remarks, Olley and Tidi hailed Governor Bala’s leadership of the PDP governors’ forum, calling him a rallying pillar for the party’s unity and survival.

They sought his cooperation to reposition Delta PDP, following the exit of their former governor from the party, stressing that the state has always been a stronghold of the PDP since the advent of the Fourth Republic.
