Gov Buni Appoints Late Emir Of Tikau’s Son As Successor

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema as the new emir of Tikau.

His appointment was based on the recommendations of the kingmakers of the Tikau Emirate Council.
In a statement signed by secretary to the state government (SSG) Baba Malam Wali, the governor said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Alhaji Grema is the eldest son of the late emir.
Grema has a Bachelor of Agriculture Economics and Extension Services from Bayero University Kano, MSc
