Gov Buni Approves Appointment Of SOLID Project Team, Board’s Executives

As part of measures to provide sustainable solutions to the plight of internally displaced persons, the Yobe State governor Hon Mai Mala Buni has approved the constitution of the State Solution To Internally Displaced Person and Host Communities (SOLID) Project Team.

A statement signed by the Head of Service, Hamidu M. Alhaji indicated that the appointment takes immediate effect.

The statement said the governor approved the appointment Suleiman Dauda as the State Project Coordinator while Arch Haruna Barma Mutai, Environmental Officer, Alkali Mustapha Geidam, Procurement Officer, Abubakar Kyari, Social Development Officer, Ali Musa Yawale, Communication Officer, Mohammed Alkali Gaji, Administration Officer while Mohammed Bamallum as Project Accountant II.

The Yobe State government has so far domesticated and launched the policy on Internally Displaced Person (IDPs) with a view to resettled back to their ancestral homes in a dignified way.

In another development, the governor has equally approved the appointment of Alhaji Umaru Hassan Babayo, as the Acting Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government SSG, Alh. Baba Malam Wali indicates that the Governor has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Suleiman Bakura as the new Acting Executive Chairman of Yobe State Internal Revenue Services.

The appointments according to the statements take immediate effect.
