The visibly angry governor said, “Starting from now, henceforth, I like everyone to hear, that’s why I’m speaking publicly. When you hear that I have fired a commissioner from your local government, it’s due to insubordination,” Governor Eno said.

He stressed that it was wrong for any of his appointees to abandon him midway into an event, noting that the job for which they offered to do under oath, was full time job

Describing his appointees as his first eleven who must be around him at all functions, Governor Eno who said he would not disclose his public function routine, said his appointees must go with him and take return with him to the Governor’s Lodge.

“The fact that I am simple does not mean that I am an appointed Governor; I was elected by the people,” adding that the cabinet members must be fully committed to effective implementation of the ARISE Agenda blueprint of his administration towards a seamless delivery of the dividends of democracy to the electorate.

“I was a commissioner myself, and I can’t remember any day I left my Governor behind,” he recalled, reiterating that any commissioner that is busy doing his personal things and leaving his official responsibilities should be prepared for red card.
