The new appointees comprise six Principal Special Assistants, 60 Senior Special Assistants, 38 Special Assistants and 63 Personal Assistants.

LEADERSHIP understands that most of the appointees were major aides in political and community relations, pension matters, and labour matters.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Mohammed Gidado, disclosed this in a statement made available to reporters in Bauchi on Tuesday.

Gidado said the appointments were to inject fresh energy into the administration while fostering a government that reflects the diverse aspirations of Bauchi’s citizens.
