Gov Mohammed Gifts $100 to Bauchi Pilgrims

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has disbursed a cash gift of $100 each to about 2,682 intending Muslim pilgrims.

The governor said this while delivering a farewell message to the intending pilgrims at the Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Hajj Camp, Bauchi.

He also warned them to be worthy ambassadors of the state in particular and the country in general while in the Holy Land, urging them to pray for peace and prosperity in the country and Bauchi State in particular.
Governor Mohammed said that the government has also made all necessary arrangements for the state pilgrims contingent to Saudi Arabia to be led by the state Amirul-Hajj who is also the Emir of Dass, Usman Bilyaminu.

He added that the government has made adequate arrangements in Saudi Arabia to make the pilgrims perform their religious obligation without any hindrance and reminded them to be grateful to Allah that has given them the opportunity of being among the pilgrims.

Bauchi State 2024 Amirul-Hajj, Usman Bilyaminu commended the governor for confidence reposed on him and his committee, assuring that the state would have a successful Hajj exercise.

LEADERSHIP Weekend reports that the state inaugural flight is expected this weekend with over 500 intending pilgrims from Misau, Ningi, Jama’are, Ganjuwa as well as officials lined up to lead the way.
