Plateau State governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has congratulated Prof. Icha Inalegwu Onche on his appointment as the substantive chief medical director (CMD) of the National Orthopedic Hospital, Jos.
Governor Mutfwang in a statement issued by the director of press and public affairs, Mr. Gyang Bere described Prof. Onche as a visionary leader and an outstanding physician whose lifelong dedication to advancing healthcare has significantly contributed to the diagnosis, treatment, and restoration of health for numerous individuals.

Mutfwang commended the federal government for making such a strategic and deserving appointment, and expressed optimism that Prof. Onche’s leadership will enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver world-class orthopedic services across North Central Nigeria and beyond, in line with the federal government’s vision for healthcare excellence.
He also expressed confidence in Prof. Onche’s ability to elevate the institution to greater heights, leveraging his extensive experience and steadfast commitment to innovation, excellence, and patient-centred care in orthopaedic medicine.

The statement further praised Prof. Onche’s dedication to tackling medical challenges, describing him as a beacon of hope and a champion of fairness and empathy in ensuring inclusive and equitable healthcare services for all.

On behalf of the government and the people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang offered his heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Icha Inalegwu Onche, praying for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength as he takes on the noble responsibility of advancing robust and effective medical service delivery.
