Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi has appointed Hamisu Muhammad Gumel as his chief press secretary.
This was contained in a statement signed by the secretary to the state government (SSG), Alhaji Bala Ibrahim and made available to newsmen in Dutse.
The governor also appointed Muhammad Salisu as special assistant on photography and publication, Garba Muhammad Hadejia, special assistant (New Media I), Umar Suleman, special assistant (New Media II).
Their appointments take immediate effect.
