Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda, has charged residents of the state to remain strong in protecting themselves against bandits attacking their communities.
He gave the charge at the commissioning of three Islamiyya schools constructed by a philanthropist, Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu at Yammama in Malumfashi and Mani local government areas of the state.

The governor however promised that his administration would offer the needed support to the communities to safeguard and lead them in the right direction.
He appreciated the philanthropist for sacrificing his resources for the sake of Allah to the benefit of the communities and enjoined the three communities to make the best use of the schools.

The Islamiyya school constructed at Yan Mama was named after the late father of the governor Bare-bari Umaru Radda, the one in Muduru was named after his mother, Hajiya Safara’u while that of Mani was also named after the Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Kabir.
