She died during a brief illness on Saturday and was buried in Katsina on Sunday according to Islamic rites.

In a press statement issued yesterday by his chief press secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor, who paid a condolence visit to Mangal, described the exit of Aisha as painful and traumatising.

He said her immediate family, community, Katsina State and Nigeria, in extension, have lost a self-effacing woman of great influence, whose entire life was passionately dedicated to serving her Almighty Creator and humanity.

Governor Radda said he was shocked over the passing away of Hajia Aisha at a time the state needed the guidance.

The CPS said, “Governor Radda, in the company of some top Katsina State Government functionaries, yesterday paid a condolence visit to the renowned Katsina business tycoon, Alh. Dahiru Mangal, over the death of his doting and supportive wife.”

“Indeed, the governor shared in the grief of the family over their beloved mother and wife’s transition to the great beyond. He, however, urged Alhaji Mangal and his bereaved family to take solace in the reality that Hajiya Aisha lived a fulfilling life, purely devoted to noble and righteous causes.”

Governor Radda, equally admonished the family of the deceased to continue to propagate her good values and positive ideals, which she exibited in her brief earthly sojourn. According to him, that is the best way they can honour her enduring legacies.
