Katsina State governor Umaru Radda has urged his fellow alumni of the College of Education, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, to work together to restore the glory of public schools in Nigeria.

He made the call at a Walima/Award for the state head of service, Katsina State, and other outstanding members of the 1987 alumni group.

Governor Radda emphasised the need for a collective effort to make public schools relevant again, stressing that the nation’s progress depends on their contributions. He encouraged his fellow alumni to join hands and avoid politicising education, noting that trading blame is a common practice in Nigeria, but collective action is necessary for success.

The alumni thanked God for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work towards making public schools valuable again.
