Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has set up a committee that would oversee his inauguration for a second term in office.
Sule secured his return bid during the March 18 governorship election in the state by defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, David Ombugadu in a tight contest.
He would be sworn in along with other colleagues across the country on May 29, 2023.
The committee unveiled on Thursday has Sule’s deputy, Emmanue Akabe as chairman, while secretary to the state government, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu is to serve as secretary of the committee.
Members of the committee include former senatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Nasarawa West District, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji; commissioner of Justice and Attorney-general of the state, Dr. Abdulkareem A. Kana; commissioner of Education, Haj. Fatu J. Sabo; chairman of Lafia local government area, Hon. Aminu Muazu Maifata; and commissioner of Police, CP Maiyaki Muhammad Baba.
Also on the list are the state APC state chairman Dr. John Mamman; APC secretary in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Bello; chairman of A.A Sule’s campaign council, Senator Abubakar Abubakar Danso Sodangi; and Barr. Tanimu Adabson.
Others include the governor’s chief press secretary, Ibrahim Addra, Yakubu Lamai, Timothy Anjide, Ismaila Mohammed, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed Tijani, Yarius Dagusa, Mrs Mary Asoloko, Barr. Yusuf Musa, and Yarius Dagusa, a retired permanent secretary.
At the committee’s secretariat are Umaru Idris, Abdulkareem Ibn Bala, Ismaila Ahmed and Abubakar Isa Abdullahi.
