Chief press secretary to Nasarawa State governor Ibrahim Addra has donated conveniences to Government College Doma, Doma local government area in the state.

The facility, a block of four conveniences, was unveiled by Mr. Addra at a brief ceremony on Sunday.

Addra also hailed from Doma town, the headquarters of the local government.

At the presentation ceremony, he said the gesture was in response to the governor’s appeal to political appointees to give back to their communities in order to alleviate the suffering at the grassroots.

Addra said the move was also aimed at supporting the education agenda of Governor’s Sule.

“It’s my small way of supporting the good work of my boss, Governor, Engr. A. A Sule,” Addra stated.

Our correspondent reports that the institution which was established in 1980, has just a pit convenience for the use of both the students and teachers.

It was gathered that the teachers normally go to their respective homes to ease themselves due to pressure on the convenience.

Addra said the new facility would end open defecation and its consequent health implication on humans and the environment.
