Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Bunii, has approved the appointment of 10 new permanent secretaries in the state civil service.
The governor’s approval was conveyed by the head of Civil Service, Alhaji Tonga Betera Bularafa, who stated that, the appointments were based on the appointees impressive qualification, proven track records, dedication, integrity and outstanding performance
A statement issued yesterday by the information officer in the office of the Head of Civil Service, Alhassan Sule Mamudo, noted that the developments was part of the government’s continued efforts to rejuvenate and enhance the quality of the civil service with the aim of repositioning it for more effective service delivery.
The statement said, this decision reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening the bureaucratic structure, enhancing service delivery, and promote merit-based leadership across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
They include, Bamai Zanna, Engr. Mai Madu Goniri, Bako Modu Kagu, Musa Garba, Abubakar Usman Kolere, Ibrahim Ali, Mohammed Annur, Abbas Isah Bizi, Mohammed Kalli and Dr. Yusuf Idriss Madaki.
According to the statement, theses appointments are part of an ongoing reform initiative aimed at injecting fresh energy and professionalism into the state’s public service, in line with global best practices.
The Yobe State government congratulated the newly appointed permanent secretaries and urged them to discharge their duties with integrity, diligence, and in the best interest of the citizens.
