Yobe State Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni has commiserated with the secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in the state, Alhaji Alhassan Sule Mamudo, over the death of his wife.
A press statement issued by the director general press and media affairs, Mamman Mohammed, said Governor Buni described the death as a huge loss to the family and the union, but however consoled the bereaved that it was the will of Almighty Allah.
According to the statement, the governor prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased to have eternal rest.
He added; “May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatur Firdaus, and to the family, the fortitude to bear the huge loss.”
